I have had this Idea in the back of my head for awhile now, Living in lowsec, Nullsec, Wormholes, without ever making one place a permanent home.
Using an alt in a Carrier/Rorqual/Jump Freighter To house most of my fits/ships.
Using another alt for Covert Cyno. Scouting, secondary help in DED sites, etc
I could Drop into 0.0 for awhile, roaming around,
Possibly carry a Small tower and Stront for temporary living space while Wormholing if I find one I like
The goal would be to bounce around Lowsec/Nullsec looking for fights, Sites, etc while being able to refit or reship accordingly.
Being able to change my ship or fit every once in awhile would let me choose better engagements with locals, or let me run the odd Site or two that I may stumble across.
Any Further Ideas on this? Do you think its Viable? |

@Jenn aSide Yeah I am a little worried about how hard it will be to move around due to the fatigue, but I am hoping it will be something i can learn to live with. I wish carriers held more, or Rorqs could hold non mining ships... Would make it more flexible. Maybe I should get a Mothership so i can :)
But its Interesting to see someone else has the same kind of Idea I do! |

If i were to be going into npc null it would be done whit 1 Carrier/prober alt. 2 low sp cyno alt 3 main character. alot of the deds in null can be done solo whit the right ship, sure its alot of isk involved but theres plenty to make. You could use that prober alt for some little logi support. AND use a low sp cyno alt, no need to invest any sp at all in that as it will be shot down alot. Its viable for sure!
Yeah I am thinking of doing:
Carrier Alt
Loki alt for Covert Cyno's and scouting and Webbing the Carrier If I need to use a gate,
Main for T3 Plexing, or maybe a Gila/Ishtar/Stratios I don't know yet. :) excited though
It probably will be alot of work, but the idea of doing something I haven't in eve yet Thrills me.
Im glad to see people already attempting the same thing, Even if it isn't lucrative, im sure it will be something I can say that ive done. |

You're assuming no one will strap on their autism helmet and go out of their way to hunt you, especially after posting your idea on here. EVE is all about strength in numbers m8, you will get **** on if you attempt to do this alone. Engagement with the locals? Good thing people have e-honor and won't bring falcon alts or logi. Run sites then? Surely no one will combat probe you.
You're playing the wrong game if you think you can stand up against all of EVE on your own. The closest best thing I would recommend is get a T3 and load it up with some fits and a depot for refit then daytrip to null or something.

To everyone else, Thanks for the support and ideas just about done with my loadout and getting things done logistically! Hopefully it goes well, hopefully you wont see me on the killboards soon xD |
